Aeratron LED Light Kit

With all designs, there are compromises. The light kit balances aesthetic sizing against needed volume of light. The result is a light so bright that you see spots for 5 minutes if you look at it. However,.it does light the room well. I would like to see Aeratron make a light that is above the blades and shines up on the ceiling, yielding pleasant indirect light. Avoids the second cover plate and passing through moving part pathways. My $.02.

We are very pleased with our new Aeratron fan. It is the perfect size for our compact bedroom. It is sculpturally beautiful and of excellent quality. Most importantly, it’s silent so will help with good sleep.

The LED light gets bright, but it only illuminates directly downward, so it doesn’t illuminate the room well. Overall, it’s okay.

In 2105 I purchased two AE2 fans. For the price they were great value. They have performed well. My only complaint, albeit slight, would be that the remote looks old in style and more so as it yellowed over time. I recently ordered another and was somewhat disappointed. I ordered this unit with the light kit. The panel for the light kit is ill fitting and is a different white than the blades. For the price point, this should not be a point of concern. Aeratron does not mention the color issue on their site when you order, however there is a note in the instructions, one that was missed until I reviewed the instructions a second time, after install. Further, Aeratron states that the light is dimmable. However, the dimming is very slight; the light only dims slightly so the function is rather useless.

Our Aeratron fan is gorgeous and the light kit offers bright light while not taking away from the artistic lines of the fan.
