According to surveys¹, we spent 90% of our lives indoors ‐ at home and in workplaces. Not surprisingly
then, the quality of our internal environment is of vital importance. Fresh air, comfortable room temperatures and adequate ventilation all directly affect our wellbeing as well as our productivity in the workplace. Air‐ conditioning and conventional fans are often used to achieve comfortable conditions, but high energy consumption, unpleasant noise levels and draughty conditions make these products costly and unsustainable.
