What makes your fans so efficient?

Our fans are rated MOST EFFICIENT 2013-2022 by Energy Star. We earned this rating through our commitment to engineering the most elegant, energy-efficient fans, with:
1. Patented self-balancing system – our patented swiss-engineered self-balancing system keeps the fan from wobbling, reducing energy consumption by up to 80%.
2. Organic blade design – our unique two-and three-dimensional blade designs with signature winglets were inspired by nature to ensure an even airflow and optimal efficiency.
3. DC motor technology - our motor technology has been engineered to deliver maximum output with minimal power consumption.

How much energy do Aeratron fans consume in comparison to traditional fans?

Our fans use up to 80% less energy than a conventional ceiling fan.

How can your fans help me save energy during the wintertime?

All of our fans have a reverse function that circulates warm air back towards the floor without directing a chilly draft at you. The reverse airflow causes an even air and temperature distribution in your room, which boosts heating system efficiency and therefore saves energy (and money). Testing showed our fans reduced the energy consumption of heating systems by 50% during winter (operating in conjunction with an existing heating / AC system).

Control and Lighting

Do you provide a remote control with your fans?

Yes all of our fans come with a modern RF remote control which allows you to control the fan’s speed (6 speeds), reverse operation (to improve heating system efficiency) and light (when the optional light kit is selected).

Do you support home automation / building management systems control?

We sure do! Our optional home automation controller allows full integration of our fans with most commercial building management systems - please contact us for further information.

Can I use a wall switch to control the fan?

Absolutely. Our optional switch controller (available from our Accessories) connects to various switches (we recommend the help of a certified electrician).

Do your fans come with lights?

All of our fans can be fitted with the optional LED light kit. Select the right kit for your needs from our Accessories.

Can I install your fans on a raked / sloped ceiling?

Our Raked Ceiling Kit combined with our Extension Rod will allow you to easily install any of our fans on any type of raked ceiling. Select the right kit and extension rod for your ceiling from our Accessories.

Can I install your fans on high/lofty ceilings?

Absolutely. Our Extension Kit and Extension Rod (available from our Accessories) allow easy installation of any of our fans on any type of ceiling height.

Do I need an electrician to install my fan?

All of our fans were designed to allow an easy DIY installation. However, some jurisdictions require a certified electrician to do the installation. We always recommend seeking the help of a certified electrician.
